Very often you traverse the roads on a two, three or four wheelers with the ultimate aim of reaching somewhere. Your mind is preoccupied of the worries at home, commitments at work place, reaching your destination in time, meeting your boyfriend, getting over a review meeting……
We are mum, but we do speak out loud and clear to so many other strangers we meet on the road. Some on the bigger version of vehicles tell us through their blaring horns that they are too busy to waste any time on the road. For many it is just a habit to take wrong turns and show no signals and give you that glaring look of “ How dare you come on my way?” Roads can be mistaken to be a park by few, as they walk hand in hand right on the middle of the road and to your humble horn, they give loud and silent message of “You hit me and then I will show you.”
All said and done we do get into the stream of pretending to be in a bit too much in hurry for the mere reason that we are not left out of the whole dynamism. The consequence for being a patient and humble soul on the road are harsh, as you will be waiting in the scorching sun of afternoon or smoggy air of the evening for quite a few minutes while all round you people are just breaking rules and pretending to be in a hurry.

Good, well thought out note. Comes straight from the heart. Gives the right perspective to things that happen day in and day out. Drives home the point - "Lets be humans".
